Protests organized next month by Church groups through to various organizations demanding Mutharika resignation for his corruption and failings. Must remember Malawi is a very peaceful African nation compared with others. People have had enough.
Muthy is under severe pressure to turn things around very quickly - will he do anything - no. He has treated with contempt letters from civil society organizations for many months to address issues. Will he mastermind unfair - rigged elections? Will the incoming govt be any better?
If as civil organizations have requested that a ruling president can be charged instead of the current archaic legislation that gives a ruling president freedom from prosecution is put in place Malawi has a chance to develop.
