Easy way to look at this - the world's popn is increasing - and as I pointed out some time ago, popn of Africa is currently 1.5b and set to increase to 4b by 2050.
This implies huge demand for base metals etc as the world industrialises and they have to develop infrastructure for over 3b additional people.
Either that or come up with something from the left field - unlikely IMO!
