Could it be that Powell is trying to keep things on an even keel so that all the PTB can put more gold in their vaults. Not much positive in risk markets, crypto down. The market does not believe the FED, look at rates. With money market rates at <5%, those bank deposit is will continue to flow to Money Market funds. Then what would I know, just a small fry down under.
