High Grades from Loreto Copper Project
Azure Minerals Limited (ASX: AZS) (“Azure” or “the Company”) is pleased to
provide shareholders with an update on exploration activities on the Company’s
recently acquired, 100%-owned Loreto Copper Project (“Loreto”), located in the state
of Baja California Sur, Mexico (see Figure 1).
    KEY POINTS:
? Stage 1 reconnaissance exploration completed
? Significant outcropping copper mineralisation observed
? Surface sampling returns numerous anomalous values, with
some very high grades of copper and precious metals, including:
    o LOR-1030: 27.90% Copper, 1,390g/t Silver & 0.32g/t Gold
    o LOR-1002: 13.65% Copper, 36g/t Silver & 21.6g/t Gold
    o LOR-1037: 12.85% Copper, 26g/t Silver & 0.32g/t Gold
? 24% of all samples contained values >1% Copper
    ? Several targets for sediment-hosted and structurally-controlled
    copper deposits identified
? Stage 2 exploration has commenced
The Loreto property covers an area of 9,571 hectares and comprises three main
blocks – El Sauce, Microondas and Pozo Los Murillo (see Figure 2). Azure’s initial
reconnaissance exploration program comprised surface sampling and mapping, with
149 samples collected from outcrops, old mine workings and mine dumps on the El
    Sauce and Microondas blocks

    ---------
    El Sauce Block
Forty three samples were collected from the El Sauce block, of which 22 samples
returned grades in excess of 0.5% copper, with 16 samples returning greater than
1.0% copper (see Table 1 for details). The majority of these copper, gold and silver
occurrences are hosted in shear zones and quartz veins, which indicate strong
potential for high grade deposits at El Sauce.
The highest grade samples returned were:
    ? LOR-1030 (27.90% Copper, 1,390g/t Silver & 0.32g/t Gold)
    ? LOR-1002 (13.65% Copper, 36g/t Silver & 21.6g/t Gold)
    ? LOR-1037 (12.85% Copper, 26g/t Silver & 0.32g/t Gold)

    --------------------------------------------

    Microondas Block
A total of 106 samples were collected from the Microondas block, with 43 samples
returning grades of more than 0.5% copper, with 20 of those samples assaying
greater than 1.0% copper (see Table 2 for details). Mineralisation at Microondas is
significantly different from that at El Sauce, being mostly widespread, low to
moderate grade copper hosted in stockwork veined sandstone with little to no
precious metal content. The most likely copper deposit style at Microondas is bulk
tonnage, low to moderate grade, disseminated mineralisation.

    ---------------------
Azure has now recommenced exploration with reconnaissance sampling underway
at the Pozo Los Murillo block. Follow-up work will also be carried out to define the
first round of drill targets on the high grade copper, gold and silver zones at El Sauce
and the stockworked vein style of mineralisation at Microondas.

About the Company and its Projects:
Azure Minerals Limited is an Australian mineral exploration company focused on
developing mining projects in the richly mineralised Sierra Madre Occidental mining
province in northern Mexico. Azure’s key projects are the high grade Promontorio
copper-gold-silver project, the El Tecolote copper-zinc project and the La Tortuga
    porphyry copper project.
The Loreto copper project is located on the east coast of the Baja California
peninsula. It is situated 6 kilometres north of the town of Loreto (population: 15,000),
with excellent access via the sealed Mexican National Highway #1 which passes
through the middle of the project area. Loreto is well serviced by existing
infrastructure, with direct flights from Los Angeles International Airport and by
Mexican National Highway #1 from the state capital La Paz.
The Baja California peninsula is a strongly mineralised province hosting many
important mining projects, including El Arco (600M tonnes @ 0.6% Cu and 0.2 g/t
    Au), El Boleo (160M tonnes @ 2% CuEq), Los Planes (65M tonnes @ 0.83 g/t Au)
    and Concordia (61M tonnes @ 1.07 g/t Au)
