Hi ozblue
The targets are the EM conductors... but that is not to be confused with how deep they might drill. The EM readings only provide a 2 dimensional reflection of the possible high grade mineralisation. It is impossible to know in advance whether the mineralisation is only a few centimetres thick or if it is many metres thick. It has to be drill tested. I am quite confident that once the target has been reached, if it is mineralised, they will continue the hole to the point where it contacts the basal rock.
You are suggesting the company would be wiser to ignore these EM readings and instead drill a wildcat hole 1000 metres deep (which would cost something in the order of $500k by the way).
You are free with your criticism and seem confident in your knowledge of exploration best practice. Do you have any formal qualifications? I would like to know that.
