Nothing Mickey Mouse about the CEO of an ASX junior company taking calls from shareholders. I only rarely contact a company but in recent months I have made a few calls...
TLG (MC ~$400M) the CEO took my call, CAI (MC~$140M)... ditto, ALK (MC~$400M)... ditto... and SGQ a few days ago.
Many, many years ago I held some HTA shares and they did have a dedicated investor relations officer. I happened to ask if he received many calls and he said "a couple" which when I asked further turned out to be 3 in total. HTA at the time had around 3000 shareholders... so roughly 1 in a 1000 actually took advantage of the opportunity.

As a rule, they are happy to receive genuine inquiry. The reliability of the information posted on HC would be enhanced if more people went to the source when they need some clarification.
