I know what you mean. I don't mean the market should be crashing now. I mean if one has an investment horizon longer than a few months they need to be very selective.

Short term: markets are due for a pullback. Technical issue.
Medium to long term: anything goes.

We are primed for a general crisis, not an acute one like GFC or covid. You saw the fear selling during covid. Imagine when wide scale deflation hits, it'll be far worse than GFC or covid. Also keep in mind it will probably turn when we least expect it.

And there has never been a new normal in thousands of years of history. There's been apparent new normals, and then it's over.

A new normal implies that wealth can be obtained without labor, which cannot be done.
