SUM boasts Tantalum that is valued at four times the price of Niobium and has twice the weight, effectively making it worth around eight times the price of Niobium when measured in ppm or percentage.

Since SUM is a surface deposit located in a country with lower drilling and labor costs, it requires a significantly smaller deposit size to achieve equivalent value. Even a Tantalum grade of just 0.125% holds the same value as a 1% Niobium grade!

When considering the added value of Niobium, this could elevate SUM to nine times the value of Niobium alone at comparable percentages. If Tantalum grades exceed those of Niobium, the value could soar to over ten times or more.

This means SUM can achieve the same or even greater value with a deposit that is only one-tenth the size. Furthermore, its advantageous location near roads, water, power, and workforce accommodation enhances its appeal.

SUM avoids the high costs associated with establishing infrastructure in remote areas, such as building towns, roads, water treatment facilities, and power stations. Plus, it benefits from local workers who can easily commute, eliminating the need for expensive FIFO arrangements.

With SUM being a surface deposit rather than buried deep underground, there’s no need for costly excavations that could run into millions or billions before accessing the resource.

In essence, SUM likely requires a deposit that is only one-twentieth the size to yield the same financial returns. This revelation underscores how remarkably undervalued SUM truly is!
