C'mon man, do you really think the company is going to post blatant errors??

Please enlighten us on what else seemed dodgy? Only thing dodgy is the brand new account instantly downramping on a stock they dont own

The elemental composition of a sample exceeding 100% might seem confusing at first, but it's actually quite simple once you understand a few basics. First off, the composition is often reported as oxides (like SiO₂, Al₂O₃), which means the mass includes oxygen as well as the element itself. So naturally, the combined weight can be more than 100%, because oxygen loves to bulk up those numbers. Then there's the fact that multiple phases or compounds in the sample can involve more than one element, meaning some elements might get counted twice. And of course, some data might not have been normalised yet, so the percentages could appear inflated.
