I would suggest that you have missed the point. The holes that were drilled were just testers and as it mentions in the announcement their spacing was such that it is highly likely that they would not pick up some areas that could contain gold. You only have to look at one of the diagrams showing the drill holes to see that some did not proceed very far at all.
So the exploration at S5 has given the Geos the confidence that there is more to discover down there. Hence the intention to develop more information with some diamond drills this time. See the diagram that shows one of the intended drill lines.
Of course the emphasis at the moment is on the diamond drilling at Redback and it is likely that when results come through from that then MXR will be keenly sought after again.
To be so dismissive of the S5 results is failing to take into account the total picture that is being worked on here as they try to establish enough evidence to back up their theory of the linking structure and the prizes that are worth pursuing.
