In general,once a great resource is found by an exploration company it can take ten to twentyyears before going into production.

On theother hand: Announce a drilling program. Pre-feasibility study. A feasibility study. Environment impact study. Economic study. Landowner issues. License applications. Various promotional videos and presentations. Involve various brokers for capital raising. Maintain a website. Employ a long list of various specialists in specific fields and spend other people’s money like a drunken sailor. ($6M PA)


Then a brokerage house and a few directors can keep this kind of game going for many years without any intention to mine or produce anything of value. Providing they can manage to continually find investors with more money than active brain cells.
