As I pointed out in my previous post the iron ore is not waste but a valuable product,rarely do vanadium and IO prices move in sync. One is up the other is down, look at the last 12 months.
The haulage company would sign a contract,not a day to day temp situation. At the moment an IO mine is trucking 1.5mt p/a from Wiluna to Geraldton 720 km.
Care and maintenance???......no need for trucking, nothing to truck.
