Due to the high gold assays in some of therock chips, 65 soil samples were submittedto the laboratory for gold analysis as afurther check on gold distribution in thearea. Interestingly the high-grade coppercore of the soil anomaly has coincidentanomalous gold up to 307ppb Au (Figure2). Coincident gold and copper in the soiland rock chips is a promising indicator ofmineralising fluids in the area.
