Haven't seen any definitive activity In the Orion to Ironclad; or Thunderer areas as of 17/9. I did miss first site prep for Money so anything subtle not readily visible.

One observation which may impact is large scale fires in the area which may limit access for awhile.

Saw the black edge to the east/south east when looking at Thunderer - wondered what it was.
Multiple fires in the Kimberly which is probably normal towards the end of the DRY.

Took 5-10 days and still smoke on the 12th that stops by 17th.
Putting a rough boundary to the black area gives in excess of 1000 sq Kms burnt in 10 days.

Other areas burnt/burning as well in the Kimberly. Start of a dangerous fire season in OZ....

Great work as always, thanks for quick reply. You're spot on about dangerous fire season... and dangerous for any exploration team fly camping and working in the area. Just looked up the Northern Australian Fire Information website (Northern Australian Fire Information (firenorth.org.au)) and current hotspots over the last 5 days are in the area immediately north of your sat pics burnout, moving into DRE's targets by my guess. Cheers
