The same 'manipulation' happens with all listed companies. You typically just don't notice when they have a larger market cap and volume.
With a Market Cap of <$10 million and extremely low volume, it's hard to invest any substantial money without dramatically altering the market price. The capital raising at the minute has effectively capped the share price at 2.6c until early September when that ends (maybe slightly lower assuming people value the free 4c options you would get for participating).
