    Hopefully for all those invested, it's an oil discovery and it bigger than the mean expectation of 124mmbbl with good reservoir quality... That's a pretty good size, but it's not huge in 550m of water, though it's likely to be commercial. BTW, the images of the Cormorant fan suggest there will indeed be good quality reservoir and I don't doubt there will be a mature and good quality source rock just below it. The main risks here is trap/seal. Doesn't kill the block if this well is dry. Someone asked earlier if they had seen a COS for this prospect. Only thing I have seen is 15% - on a Chariot discussion.

    No idea if that is valid or not. It's apparently from a research report. IMHO, the source, reservoir and probably charge (reservoir lies just above source) are all reasonably low(ish) risk, it's just the seal/trap that is the concern. Feels a bit better than 15% to me. Maybe 20. Will certainly boost the COS of the adjacent fans if it comes in.
