People behave like lemmings when an announcement comes out. I've been cut in half on AW1 recently, and in many other stocks in the past... on GOOD news.
I personally think the market is flooded with cryptographers who likely trade several times a day. But remember, trendsetters, those same people are the ones who miss out on the 30x when it comes.
