Not as a spreadsheet, but generally yes from decades of investing. It generally hurts a stock. Golconda GGGOF GG.v was killed, it dropped about 90% after reverse split, a 10,000ish oz gold producer. The good? It killed it so bad at first I sold it then bot back more near bottom.
Just one example but have seen it over and over, more risk than reward. There is one exception, if the stock has multibagged up first. If stable before or down, negative.
