Seems like every junior on the asx is scratching around for the newly coined "white gold" for a quick rerate on rock chip samples. It has been done plenty of times and worked well for some.
Not to rub the shine off lithium, but these projects take 5-7 years at best to get off the ground, lithium is abundant in both hard rock and brine form and at current prices there is no shortage of expansion plans. This would have to be an outstanding deposit to compete against incumbents by the time it gets out of the ground. A big if, may as well buy a lotto ticket with the funds.
Beyond that, the last thing mct needs is another distraction. As said previously if the ground was highly prospective why stop at a single high grade rock chip sample....
