With respect, I would suggest they know a little more about what they are doing than the average punter. Particularly WRT the Capital Cycle.
Like key fund managers, they are presented with opportunities from varied sources and are often at the negotiating table for further raises. Competing with them in that end of the market I would rather join them because I don't believe I can beat them. What I do do is try to understand them.
