Indeed, what most folks in equity markets forget is the equity space exists for companies to raise capital, the fact mug punters like us can clip the ticket on occasion is very low on the priority list.

We shall know soon enough what the odd trading patterns have been.

Understanding that interests with larger amounts of capital (non mug punters in other words) do not like to spike the price for an entry point, they give brokers a range to execute purchases for the total amount they're after and they then execute said buying via algorithms within a range. Remember brokers don't pay per trade like retail but by volume settlement at end of day. They make the exchange the money so they get treated a little differently.

If we have misread the situation then we lose money but if we've seen what the general market isn't interested or alert to, then we make money by seeing ahead of the herd. That's the small players advantage.

The backdrop has never been a better set up with what's happening in the US and we definitely have assets worth more than the current MC.

Will we be the ones to capitalise from this? I would like to think so.
