I use the term experience meaning practical experience. I certainly would not refer to impractical experience. Specifically my case professional experience both in capital markets and technical.
I do think, on HC in general, there is a tendency to base decisions on what experience one has, which can be sub-optimal. Not saying I don't make that mistake myself I do a lot. I just put it down to my personal limitations which start with being human (hence emotional behavioural bias).
