Really is interesting to see what these guys publish I liked this heading :

So are there any long hole open stoped underground mines in the USA mining economically at grades as low as 1 .0% Cu equivalent which I am guessing is around 1.5 gram a tonne Au eq . that they can compare with ?
I am thinking not so why use a 1% Cu cut off , yes you get more tonnage of low grade ore , but is that relevant if it is not economic to mine but welcome to be proven wrong ?
Anyway I would like to smoke what ever these guys are smoking
