For a Cu-eq formula that produces values comparable to pure copper plays, simply divide the Cu_eq figure published by NWC by the copper recovery.
The recoveries used in the NWC Cu-eq formula are not the maximum recoveries by metal. Rather they are the set of recoveries we should expect from the concentrator based on the metallurgical test work completed to date. You used the term "optimum" and the recoveries are indeed that. The concentrator can play some games when in production if metal price changes make one or other metal more attractive but said changes are relatively minor.@CD1999
