Cut more staff - which is great for staff morale for the ones that arent axed,
if they are thin on the ground now your existing staff become crucial that they remain.
Back to Basics program - is that all they can come up with? "back to bloody basics"
Technical businesses require a combination of Tech savvy staff, sales, support and competent business managers to run and support. The business managers MUST understand the business otherwise its like mixing oil and water!!
Do Hil have management that understand?? Do they have entrepreneurs to create, maintain and grow business??
Do they have enough knowledge to run and turn the business or are their managers a bunch of over paid systems analysts that are implementing internal systems??
Stop the internal structures and get out and open new markets, cross promote, get your inventory correct, hire people who know get rid of those who dont know!!
Put support in places where its needed, free your sales people up, get them on the road seeing clients all day every day!!
