rather, it will be upon us next year when the innocuous dent becomes a total write-off!
what will totally change the sales numbers is what's called a tax on CO2 emissions. old Malcolm already had this on his agenda before someone thankfully stuck a wooden stake in his heart, once they could find it.
now, as you know, Uncle Bill will be in the lodge early next year thanks to the Greens and incompetent Sco Mo,who is about as genuine as a sewer rat!
all that happens as a result, is that if vehicle manufacturers can't meet a certain emission output criteria, they will be taxed very significantly and that will be passed on to the consumer.so hybrid becomes more attractive!
ok-now sure the Govt. is getting obscene amounts from petrol tax and would be hesitant about losing grip on its' Holy Grail, but you must remember that the Greens will have TOTAL balance of power after this coming election holocaust.
and that also means that OZland will soon be in a recession anyway, so just- "Don't Worry, and Be Happy"
