Within the last 6 months we’ve had a former number 1 & number 3 draft pick retire due to concussion in McCartin & Brayshaw. Who would envision on draft night that this is how their career would pan out? I think it’s time for HIQ Management to get on the front foot & start promoting this product to make sure that the people in the right places know what they have available. This should be a very easy sell & I don’t know why it hasn’t taken off yet, possibly it’s a monetary cost factor or just that no one knows it exists?
A decent set of Cricket Gloves can cost $150 which protects the hands & fingers only & you never see a Cricketer walk out to bat without using them!! Surely a Mouth Guard which tracks head & body knocks & also protects the teeth is worth the cost in comparison to Cricket Gloves! Maybe it’s time to interview the likes of Paddy & Angus if they so wish on a show like 60 minutes to hear their story.
