There is still a shed load of historical intangible assets/goodwill on the books. A new broom can direct a fresh look at these.
A new CEO has no 'baggage' to defend and so can undo the mistakes of others. Perhaps there will be less blaming of external factors. We will find out.
If the changes are believable then I may just buy back in- but in no hurry.
