Did not realize that the $41.5 million cost savings on the plant are USD ($65 million AUD)
That is one third of the total costs
30% cost savings on the CAPEX is a great outcome
$40 million USD prepayment would have been a huge risk, if the lithium price stays low for longer
Also most of the construction risk is now taken by Authium, providing the nano filtration plant, with lower OPEX, including processing charges
I have to say, I like it
Even if the nano filtration approach will not work, GLN keeps all the rights on one of the best lithium assets
