to make it clear again: it would be catastrophic if gln stopped construction now. workers who have already been hired would look for other jobs. nobody - not even you - would ever again take a job that promises you long-term prospects and then fires you after a few months with the option of hiring you again if necessary.
it burns more money if they stop construction completely and restart it later. it won't stop the bleeding. if you don't believe me, look at rnu as an example. stopping construction would make a sale much more likely.
