Tell us a little about you and your team’s background and any career highlights so far (Dion Sullivan, MD and CEO).
I have 25+ years of Marketing/Brand Strategy. Immersed in digital technologies since 1997. Been involved in public listings on NASDAQ, London Stock Exchange and Australian Stock Exchange. Worked with companies like Viacom, MTV, Betfair and Bank of America.
My Team includes:
Doug Barry - A successful entrepreneur, Investor, Advisor and Operating Executive in the media, entertainment and technology industries who Co-founded Selby Ventures in 2000 where he focused on Seed and Early Stage Investments in digital media, Internet and Mobile. Mr. Barry was an original venture investor in Pandora Media and other notable investments including Bigfix (acquired by IBM), Clairvoyante (acquired by Samsung) and Coremetrics (acquired by IBM). Mr. Barry is Chairman of Digital Riot and was an early Advisor/Consultant to TIVO (Digital Video Recording), GLU (early mobile gaming) and Rightsflow (Digital rights management acquired by Google). Previously, he was an Executive at Turner Entertainment and Electronic Arts.
Jon Kraft - Co-Founder and CEO of Global Music Giant Pandora Media, who brings over 20 years of extensive software and consumer digital media experience. Mr. Kraft is currently the CEO of MUMO, a new mobile social music sharing service and Chairman and Co-Founder of Thrively, a consumer technology platform that helps children discover and pursue their passions. In addition he is Co-Founder of Liftoff LLC, a business accelerator that helps early stage and Fortune 500 companies develop and launch new products.
Jennifer Herman - former Electronic Arts and ZYNGA Executive, with over 20 years of digital entertainment, social media, video games and technology experience.
Roman Sharkey - world class data Scientist who has joined MSM from Google where he held a heavily quantitative analytical and data leadership role.
Sophie McGill - top-tier Australian Media Executive with previous roles at Endemol UK, Southern Star, Media Venture Partners and Marquee Studios which created amplify live. Ms. McGill was responsible for digital platform brand extensions for popular program including Big Brother, Deal or No Deal and the Match.
Josh Heenan - worked on major franchises including call of duty, Rockband and various Star Wars titles from Lucasarts. At ZYNGA, Mr. Heenan helped establish a studio in India. He later took up a role at Booyah where he ran operations on my town 2 (1M daily average users (DAU)).
Eric Cook - a former Digital Chocolate Senior Software Engineer, Mr. Cook worked on the Facebook Game Millionairecity, which had 2M DAU. Following Digital Chocolate, He joined “GROOPS” where he wrote and executed a scalable re-usable backend technology that runs dominations, a mobile game with 1.5M DAU and was then appointed technical and management lead for the platform, scaling, big data, analytics and machine learning. The platform had over 1 Billion interactions per day.
