Hong Kong is a great entry point. There is always fear of IP theft. However in Hong Kong, they are more discipline in this respect.
I know of so many cases of people in China with health issues that will go to Hong Kong to seek treatment.
China is big but their medical service in many areas are still not as advance as in Hong Kong.
China is trying to create Hainan as a medical treatment centre for private patients.
Since China created the Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone (Free trade port), many private hospitals had started to go there to do business. Examples like AAMG, Raffles Medical group from Singapore. I am sure DW has his eyes in that part of the world.
