Good vectors and a good data base. At least we know where not to drill.
Drilling to the depth of the Unconformity should at the very least yield some new data on alterations and mineralisation. The trench has been sampled from for many years and always reveals quite simply stunning results across U Ag REO etc. Seriojsly off the chart even for grab/rock samples. What was encouraging was the presence of significant mineralisation in soil samples. No doubt the result of weathering. Within the vicinity of the trench there is further evidence of mineralisation. Then there’s the analogous outcrop 2k’s away.
So far the source has not been located. It is likely to be nearer the UC if at all. December drilling could focus upon the blind spots where no exploration has taken place. The campaign has flexibility to extend to deeper drilling if there are hits along the east or at least an increase in concentration with depth. Most deposits in the area reside at the UC boundary it seems. It’s hard to say if we’ll get lucky or not, but that’s what drill campaigns are for.
Lead up to Christmas and into new year will deliver no shortage of anticipation.
