Totally agree in relation to delays, wet weather isn't helping either, but I haven't seen any notification that it has or any justification as to why it would get sent across the continent to WA when it's the same scenario everywhere. But in particular with multiple more results pending in WA and your major activities on the east of the country why would you bother?
