Management and shareholders ALL know that this should be many multiples from todays SP and the near future. Absolutely no doubt, that's why we all disappionted with both the SP and CE communication.
Not all offers get disclosed to the ASX as it all also skew the SP if it is crap, creating to much volatility in SP and volume (boom and busts are not good for SPs). So I accept that CE did not diclose it to the market and told them to go away and do your homework,.....before you get to look at our books and data room!
However,
HCH BOD did a agressive consolidation a couple years ago to reduce volume (sometimes helps the SP), and not be considered a penny stock.
HCH obviously needed more cash so a funding arrangement was going to be required, this takes time, so the BOD (NABs advice? IMO) decided to do a rapid CR (too rapidly IMO). This hughly increased our SOI again (which we just got rid of) and way to cheaply. $1 is a steal and NOT in line with the above statement "worth many multiples". CE can not fly around the world telling everyone we are massively undervalued and then pull the rug from under the SP, ($1.25 at the time, and climbing).
IMO, People are emotional and not as dumb as some may think. e.g. I had a few people ask me whether to buy more or just wait until the SP was under the $1 again. That is, they know the cycle of the SP now. There will be resistance again at $1.30, and so it goes on, until the water business is sorted and/or serious T/O offer comes forward. Osisko deal valued us at $3.50 ish, (25% of IGV from memory??). So when an offer comes in I am sure the SP will break the 1.30 and WE WILL get an PS Ann. Just more patience required, maybe a lot more?
