Had a long chat at the RIU conference with Chris a resource geo for HCH and later some words with CE. - [Friendly]

No revelations as would be expected just some insights into the minutiae of logistics and exploration.

My impression was the crew are excited by the discovery which hopefully means the recent mid 60s will be a support level especially if good results keep coming in for La Verde and the PFS supports scoping studies. This is all my words and interpretation.

Looked at Sentinel and saw a fair level of activity some of which can be correlated to the recent sites shown in the presentation. Perhaps one more to the south for the period 6-16 February. Steady production from the rig with holes being quite deep. Maximum was apparently 420m long.


More disturbances than reported sites and old roads driven on over the period.

Long section with very wide window means holes projected quite a long distance.



Hornfels ~~ Skarn (S) forms the green pod in the middle of the intrusive. This is quite well mineralised and probably being checked out with further tests as the lithology may be problematic.

To date the correlation of intrusive and reasonable grade is holding. Long may it continue.

Magnetics are subtle (thin red lines) at La Verde but hopefully going to provide targets for extending mineralised intrusive if I understood correctly.



Remnant magnetic highs correlate well at C 1-3 but not C4 where carbonate rich lithologies have some bizarre impact - more so on the geochem leading to false targets.

CE has seen many chalcocite supergene blankets drilled with poor results at depth. This is the reason there has yet to be any holes under the existing oxide Cu pit. Would prefer to be wrong about it but from a PR perspective having drilled a number of good holes peripheral to distal from the pit makes a duster under the pit , if that is the case, more palatable.

Hudbay data set: assays methodology was irregular and no core remains to confirm logging or assays. Not good for Jorc purposes so used as a base for their drilling program and twinning some holes.
From memory the best hole had some 240m of 0.4% Cu and 0.1 g/t Au. Scissor? or twin hole by HCH replicated this general intersection in length and slightly better grade.

Not 100% certain but the large number of historical drill pads were part of the Hudbay work with many prepared but not used. Drill spoil at some but no records available.

HCH applied for a certain number of drill pads for the current program. A new application is needed for more, apparently, and this is not a short procedure, again apparently. There is no restriction, that was pointed out to me, about how many holes could be drilled from an authorised site - hence the fan patterns that are showing up.

Ongoing efforts to acquire some new land with Dos Amigos (Tintina), Praga, and San Antonio (SE of La Verde) obvious areas of interest

Tintina put out this announcement recently on Dos Amigos - Globe and Mail and also available on Sedar. 43-101

Inferred resources: 320 Mt in the sulfide zone, with grades of 0.36% Cu and 0.26 ppm Au (Cueq: 0.51%).

As a gut feel I wouldn't be too surprised if La Verde will come in around this MRE in the top 300m.
