The reason hey are so large was that they did not go with the realtek 4 in 1 chip from the outset, therefore there choice of chipset dictated the size of the unit. Until ( and if ) they build a set with the new chipset, they will not get any smaller. The overall esign is strange, as is the charging case. Its not exactly stick them in your pocket buds ( such as airpods ). The people that say airpods design is not good, you only have to look at Apples sales to counteract that argument. Apple could easily inforporate the tech into Airpods, they havent done so yet, as by calling a bud a "hearing aid" removes the coolness from a product and would hurt sales figures. If the big gunds dont' enter that market, then you can rest assure it is niche, which it is, at sales figures of 4 milion per year in the states over the entire hearing aid marketplace. However, 1 to 3 % of that marketplace would be a great catch for Nuheara, if they can take the opportunity with no one else in play at the moment in store. That will not continue for long so they really need to crack on.
