but residents will likely already be complaining about the support provided from existing staff. the HSC products in a RV could be used to improve the level of support provided by the RV operator - this is a decision the RV operator will make and not each individual resident. The devices won't replace the staff providing support but allow for a better level of support.

currently (and I'm guessing) out of 100 resident falls in a RV 100 are only identified when a resident doesn't arrive at a meal, contact their neighbour, shouts for help etc. with a HSC installed device the detection of a number of those falls could be significantly faster - doesn't have to be a patient worn device, it could be a motion sensor or something similar.
