    Correct, synthetic is still more expensive than natural graphite but the price gap has narrowed due to cheaper pet coke feedstock. China reportedly has a lot if idle synthetic capacity to come online to take advantage of this and flood USPG with product market hence keeping a lid on prices. https://www.fastmarkets.com/insights/spherical-natural-graphite-prices-plunge-11-year-lows
