Because of what TAMZ said, it is this guy's baby, and you want him to decide which of your babies to give up.
It could also be the different cash generation parts fund the cashflow poor parts ie BNPL. So he wants to keep the pieces.
Maybe he wants the card operations back, except for the figures in recent financials they generated more substantial profits and maybe are travel related expenditure.
Let's see if he keeps the emotions out and makes this a cash play that makes sense.
At present I know everyone here has their different views but I am in the FOR the sale camp.
Makes sense to move BNPL to a bigger balance sheet, the card operations sad to lose those though.
