some good points. AA loves the leasing/commercial business, and has always meddled in it from above. He was not a massive fan of cards, didn't understand them, and struggled to get on board with BNPL. There is a track record of AA being unhappy with management and shows in the revolving door of key leaders ie 4 CEO's and 5 GM sales in last 10 years. Its well known within the business of AA throwing his toys out of the cot and people under the bus.
