Similar goings on with API (aka Priceline) where their 3-year SP trend up until July was not too dissimilar, albeit less drastic to Humm. In july they were trading at ~$1.10 when Wesfarmers made a TO bid at $1.40 (25% uplift). Since then Woolworths has come in to create a bidding war offering ~$1.75 (60% uplift from the $1.10).
Many other factors at play in trying to draw a comparison, of course, but I think anyone expecting >120% uplift from SP at time of announcement is dreaming.
My prediction is $1.50 being best case....$1.30-$1.35 likely. And, I think it will be a split with Latitude (or other other) taking BNPL, and AA/PE taking Credit
