If you are sitting on a profit at this point, then you just took a big dip in profits from a month ago.
That's lost opportunity. That extra profit could have been earning you money.
No matter how you look at it, anyone who didn't sell before this idiotic gold/copper spinoff got screwed.
You can call me all sorts of names, but the market says loud and clear that it also prefers diversified companies.
A three legged stool is a lot more stable than a toothpick balanced on its tip.
