On page 12, LAU mentions headwinds such as cost pressures from inflation and a competitive labour market.
The first is undeniably true. It's important that contracts are carefully written.
With the second, wage (and salary) rises may or will be necessary: one side of the coin.
But the other is with Scott's collapse, suddenly there are several hundred heavy vehicle drivers out of a job.
That's small compared to the number of national vacancies, not all of which are advertised on a single channel such as Seek, but it's a bonus for the 'available talent pool' as LAU has on offer similar roles. As in Matthew 3:12, it can sort 'wheat from chaff' in applications.
