    yep I think at present one could argue we are best buying international stocks at good valuations with optionality, should inflation kick in. Although I’m generally adverse to commodities I’ve found myself buying several commodities plays lately.

    on the asx the few that might benefit from higher aud like the retailers will have tough comps over the next 12 months. There are still a few real companies with decent valuation on the asx I think but not as many as usual.

    TNK still looks cheap at an ev/ebitda of 6 and nice growth prospects and two very well resourced active bidders.

    fid/fsa/mam also are very well run and pretty good value and won’t suffer from the strong aud.
