And I think the last piece of that little GDP improvement jigsaw comes in the shape of the Governments risking all sorts of COVID infections breaking out of the quarantine hotels just to get Australians back from overseas. They come back with funds and the first thing they do is buy a house and a car. Those returning numbers don't quite equal our annual immigration figures but they're heading in that general direction.
I also think people movement trends are, at least in part, why WA was happy to close its borders for longer than any other State. More people travel from WA to the Eastern States for a holiday than travel the other way.
And I think the last piece of that little GDP improvement jigsaw...
