There are plans arriving where for the same cost roughly $70 per month you get 500gig mobile broadband and a free modem. I have NBN fixed wireless using same technology and the Optus one beats it for speed. The towers are within 500 metres of each other. The reality is tgat the NBN will be one giant backhole. I think that there is a future in the mobile providers and those that have their own international cables will slowly choke tge smaller players.NBN will have to keep raising prices and become as inflexible as any government department.
Really just think you have to be patient.
I would think over time the Voda brand will get up there. They just need to keep increasing coverage and milk the cities. I hold because I believe that ultimately the public will vote with their money and find alternatives to NBN.
