There were 151,000 shares traded today which is a lot for SDI. They're tightly held, so that many shares traded in one day will likely have an affect on the price. Still very careful here. The thing that I keep considering is around the change in their sales mix. They've done a great job staying in the game by re-positioning themselves into the whitening market when amalgam requirements reduced around the world. But this means they are now primarily supporting a discretionary (whitening) rather than an essential (amalgam) service. This transition has met with praise (rightfully) but, if the punters out there were to have a downturn in their fortunes, or even start to feel nervous about the future, teeth whitening may fall down the list of priorities. SDI has not had to deal with this since the transition. It's just a negative thought that probably won't come to pass and I'm not about to change my sentiment but it's a consideration.
