If they announced a deal late last year or earlier this year, they'd both be way higher now. I hold both so the lower they both go the more I lose in capital value terms. It doesn't matter if it balances out on a merger basis because the value of both holdings just goes lower with all the uncertainty. If they acted faster, both holdings would be valued higher right now.
