Management talk about it being undervalued at presentations but at those presentations the price was around $27. If NTA iscariund $29 that isnt that much undervalued. Certainly not enough to pointbit out as strongly as they did.
I always look at net proceeds after CGT to determine whether I will sell. If that value is below my valuation I wont sell - even if by selling and buying later I could up my cost base.
There is one thing I dont know how to value. The direct large holdings like BKW - if you look at their presentations they are undervalued by the market. Then there is the Private equity division.
the WHSP agri business as well...
Overall I dont think management has done enough to market how to value this stock. They talk NTA
